This standard recognizes various performance test levels designated to permit a reasonable selection of tests, tolerances, and accuracy requirements appropriate for the application and the customer's needs. Tests which conform to the requirements of this standard shall be designated as tests conducted in accordance with the Hydraulic institute test standards.
