This books covers general rules to the preparation, execution, acknowledgement and recording of instruments affecting real property. While it is not the landsman's responsibility to draft legal instruments involved in an oil and gas and minerals operation, it is his job to obtain the proper form for the instrument being required. Some recommended forms are included in the back of this book.
