This study guide was developed as a tool for self-study or classroom training to assist the user in better understanding the requirements of the UMC. Although it is quite useful for examination preparation, such as inspector certification, contractor, and journeyman, it is not intended to replace the intense study required to be successful for these exams. This text is not intended to replace the Uniform Mechanical Code document.
